The Continuous Improvement Framework (CIF) is a provincial initiative that began in the Spring of 2006. It is a strategic planning model designed to advance both provincial and local educational priorities. The CIF aligns the North East School Division priorities with the Saskatchewan Ministry Of Educatiion priorities, the ultimate goal being to improve student outcomes through focused system operations.

The four current provincial priorities that have been identified are:

  • High levels of literacy and achievement
  • Equitable opportunities to learn and succeed
  • Smooth transitions into and through the system; and,
  • Strong system-wide accountability and governance
