Safe Schools

On December 17, 2018 the North East School Division (NESD); Ministry of Justice, Corrections and Policing; Ministry of Social Services; RCMP; Saskatchewan Health Authority; and Cumberland College signed the North East Community Threat Assessment and Support Protocol.

The objective of the protocol is to reduce and prevent violence and promote community safety. To this end, schools of the NESD will actively monitor and respond to student behaviors of concern that may pose a risk of violence to students, staff and members of the community.
