I Sherri Hanson am currently serving as the trustee for subdivision 2. I am a long-time resident of Arborfield, seeking re-election as your school board trustee. My commitment to our schools is deeply personal, my children attended Arborfield schools, and I now have two grandchildren following in their footsteps.
I believe strongly in holding the board and administration accountable, ensuring that policies and procedures are consistently followed. It is essential that we uphold the highest standards of governance to foster trust within our communities. Clear communication between the board and the families we serve is critical to achieving our shared goals.

My name is Ken Teichroeb. I am happy to call Carrot River home. I have operated a small business in the Carrot River area since 2007. I have been happily married for almost 30 years, and currently have two children pursuing secondary education, one in Alberta and one in China. They are both products of the Carrot River schools, and I could not be more pleased with the quality of education they received in our small town. I would appreciate the opportunity to be involved with the NESD at the board level.

TIm Hoenmans was born, raised and educated in Melfort before convocation from the University of Saskatchewan. He has served on Melfort City Council for the past eight years and is a Mine Geologist in northern Saskatchewan. Previous experience with the assessment management agency and city council means a firm understanding of the relationship between taxation and funding.
Hoenmans believes in working with our educators to provide the best opportunities available and creating an environment that entices our graduates to be a part of our local community when they embark on their professional careers.
Funding education in today's political climate includes responsible local decisions paired with holding higher leverls of government accountable for promises of proper funding and programs.
Hoenmans wants to see his two young children educated such that they have the real-world skills and knowledge to succeed, and therein lies the movitation to run for Subdivision four.

My name is Christina Prybylski, my husband and I have lived in Melfort for 15 years. We have 3 children (14, 13, 11) attending school here. Until my recent nomination, I was employed by the NESD as a casual Educational Assistant. I love being in the school, working with students, teachers and families.
I am active in 2 of our local SCCs, I sat as a chair for Brunswick School for 2 terms. Serving on the SCC piqued my interest in how our local division functions and led me to regularly attending the NESD Public School Board meetings last school year. I long to see open and transparent dialogue between our division, schools, and families. I believe this is key to ensuring our students receive a great education. My name is Mark van Haastert, my wife and I live on a cattle operation in the RM of Barrier Valley, 10 miles west of the Village of Bjorkdale, where our three children attend school. I've lived in the Tisdale/Bjorkdale area my entire life, I attended school for K-12 in Tisdale and finished off my schooling with a diploma in agriculture at the U of S.
For the past 10 years I've served on the school community council in Bjorkdale and this has given me multiple opportunities to have interactions with the NESD school board and I have realized how important it is to keep a good connection with all schools in the division.
I would like the opportunity to serve on the NESD Board to help ensure that our children continue to receive a quality education.
