The provision of NESD consultant services is determined by the division’s Response to Intervention process, its focus on early intervention, and the intensity of student need. All support services are delivered in an educational context.
Counselling Consultant- provides counselling services to students who are experiencing social, emotional, or behavioural challenges that may impede success at school.
English as an Additional Language Consultant - provides direct and consultative service to teachers and students to maximize student learning.
Educational Psychologist- provides assessment and programming services for students with exceptional learning, emotional or behavioural needs.
Occupational Therapist- provides direct and consultative service relative to environmental modifications, adaptive equipment, and regulation strategies.
Outreach Worker – fosters student well-being, facilitates nutrition programming and functions as a liaison between school, home and community
Speech Language Pathologist- provides direct and consultative services in the areas of language, communication, and articulation.
